Coronavirus – Advice for all early years’ providers and schools
Our school site is open from Monday 8th June. The return to our site is based on ensuring the health, safety and well-being of everyone in our school community. We are phasing pupils and staff back to the East Ham site gradually with this in mind. Parents will receive a letter inviting their child or young person back to school based learning. We will make a joint decision with parents about supporting their child to return to our site or to continue with learning at home, based on the child's individual risk assessment. If pupils are returning to our site, a home-school agreement must be signed by parents. There is also a parent handbook available for all parents to read. This is available on our web site in the Pupils and Parents tab; letters and notices.

As a school and Trust we understand that it can be worrying hearing about the Coronavirus and its potential impact. The School and Trust take the health of all the children very seriously and follow the health advice from the Department for Education and Public Health England. The school is actively promoting handwashing and encouraging the use of sanitisers where soap is not available (e.g. tube etc).

Advice for parents/guardians
The Government and NHS are well prepared to deal with this virus. You can help too. Germs
can live on some surfaces for hours. To protect yourself and others:
• Always carry tissues with you and use them to catch your cough or sneeze.
• Bin the tissue, and to kill the germs, wash your hands with soap and water, or use a
sanitiser gel.
